Favona and its surroundings
Favone is on the southern tip of the «Côte des Nacres». At 8km from Solenzara, Favone and Canella Bays are at the doors of South Corsica and its heavenly beaches. With white sand and clear waters, those two beaches will delight you ... Also the Fautea tower, Genoese vestige overlooking its wonderful bay, is at 6km from the Villa Mimosa. Porto-Vechio and Bonifacio are waiting for you southern, or you can also go and discover the mountainous «Alta Rocca» and its famous «Aiguilles de Bavella».

Jewel of Alta Rocca, at 30 minutes from our B&BThis wonderful site will make you feel dizzy ! Leave the sea to drive through the huge Lariccio pines, up to the «Col de Bavella », where you’ll find again the great blue, overlooking it, 900 meters higher ! Breathtaking view points, hiking-path for the more or less trained, natural swimming pools, canyoning ... very sympathic little hostel ... the «Aiguilles de Bavella» are a key place you musn’t miss !
Down south : Porto Vecchio and its dream beaches
Just 20min from Favone, Porto-Vecchio is a very busy area in summer which also offers greatful beaches, obviously the most beautiful on the island : Saint Cyprien Gulf, Santa Ghjulia, Palombaggia, Rondinara... you’ll be spoilt for choice !
